Yes, The Roman catapults can catch the Gauls before they arrive. The time difference will be 50 min if all is set in motion accordingly with no delay, or server lag , with a TS level 5 and no hero with any equipment affecting the speed of troops.

    Disregard my previous answer!
The correct answer is still "yes" but the time difference is 45 minutes actually.

If you read the task literally, then "the enemy will be here in ten hours" from now, but the attack was launched 10 minutes ago ("Ten minutes ago I received a dispatch"). Which gives the distance not 60 fields sharp but slightly more, like between (0|0) -> (60|11) (10 hrs 10 minutes to go)

With TS lvl 5 catapults are 6:45 to cover such a distance
    http://travian.kirilloid.ru/distance...boots=0&left=0
and +2:30 for preparations hence 9:15.

The centurions need thirty minutes to prepare the plan and we need another two hours for our army to gather together and launch an attack! Let's not waste any more time!

    30 (to prepare) + 120 (to gather army) + 400 (travel time to gaul city) = 550 (9:10 hours)

    10 - 9:10 = 50 minutes time difference

    The nearest time i found to 10 h is from 100/100 to 50/67 /for example/ - 9:59:05 h with no TS

With TS lvl 5 they will need of
    6:39:32 h
    + 2 h for gathering + 30 mins for the centurions it is 9:09:32 h.

So the dif will be ~50 mins.
