    Default [T4] Changelog

    The following changes / fixes will be implemented in the next days in T4 servers:

    Layout & graphics
    • fixed display of village walls and palisades
    • IE8 fixed missing description of hero items
    • fixed oasis icons were swapped
    • academy fixed text layout

    Hero & auctions
    • fixed hero consumption slot could get blocked
    • display better feedback for experience scroll use
    • display better feedback for artwork use
    • check hero location for revival now
    • fixed hero dies while returning from a support mission after the supported village was conquered

    Reports and troops
    • fixed player received duplicate combat reports
    • fixed repeat attack failed in case of naming conflicts
    • fixed vicinity reports display of wrong initial village name when renaming a
    village
    • Use of village name “?” prevented as it doesn’t generate a link in reports
    • fixed display of a hero with nature troops
    • IGM quotes wrong when using the sent folder
    • removed wrong link in report list
    • fixed report counter stopped for peaceful greeting reports
    • fixed IGM any sitter replies mark the whole conversation
    • reports no longer close automatically when switching village location
    • fixed display of wrong attack target after initial target was deleted during the
    approach

    Alliance
    • create and change alliance name now works the same way
    • fixed an error while removing users from closed forums
    • fixed wrong entry count for alliance forum
    • fixed grant rights for global IGMs turned to manage forums

    Game play
    • market place resource filter no longer resets when used in wrong order
    • fixed sending resources to village itself not prevented due to special character
    • hide option to build new settler immediately after building the last settler
    • artifact of the fool adjusted effect faster troops
    • fixed task rewards no longer linked to start village

    Plus, support & payment
    • autofill with option alliance now works as intended

    • Fixed: igm text body vanished after entering incorrect addressee, no resend with corrected address available
    • Soldier portraits in all troop training buildings, zoom in by click

    • Email can be changed again in profile

    The following changes / fixes will be implemented in the next days on T4 servers:

    Graphics and layout
    • Fixed: error that BB codes were sometimes not correctly cast as links
    • Safari, Chrome - fixed: some layout bugs with hero


    Hero and auctions
    • Fixed: using scrolls did sometimes not yield experience points


    Reports and troops
    • Fixed: text in barracks occasionally missing
    • Fixed: sorting order of farm list was ignored when sending troops


    Alliance
    • Fixed: several warnings when administrating alliance forum
    • Fixed: error message in alliance profile
    • Fixed: bug with rights management in alliance forum


    Gameplay
    • Fixed: negative merchant count was displayed after reduction of market place
    • Oases start with empty storage at start of game
    • Fixed: resource spread of some Natar villages all zero, especially WW villages
    • Fixed: “finish construction” of rally point by taskmaster was not applied on queued building order


    Plus, support & payment
    • Added error message if payment server is not accessible for technical reasons
    • Combat simulator now correctly enters account instead of village’s population when called from a combat report


    Other
    • Several measures to improve performance
      • Fixed: calculating population statistics took too long
      • Fixed: block caused by accumulated background tasks after server failure
      • Fixed: occasional block when loading the map
      • Optimized map performance
      • Fixed: several scripting errors
      • Fixed: cache issues
    • Fixed: invalid password after account activation
    • Fixed: error message when calling artefact villages from the Natar’s profile
    • Disabled some entries that caused a village name link to not work properly
    • Fixed: English warning message in town hall wrong when storage is too small for a celebration

    The following changes / fixes will be implemented in the next days on T4 servers:

    Graphic & Layout
    • Medal awards of the qualification servers can now be seen by other players too

    Hero & Auctions
    • Fixed: Villages in the Natarian area (grey zone) produced a small amount of culture points

    Reports & Troops
    • Fixed: Incorrect display of the return time of troops from players with a „speed“ artefact
    • Corrected: Reinforcements and own troops defending a village are now separated even if the reinforcing player has the same tribe as the defender
    • Trade report: Clicking on the alliance name oft he recipient now leads to the alliance oft the recipient
    • Fixed: Naming of an oasis could differ between reports and the rally point
    • Fixed: During an official cease fire (peace time), a [?] was shown in reports instead of the name and link of the oasis

    Game mechanics
    • The „crop“-artefact will now affect reinforcements of oases connected to the village too

    Others
    • Maximum length for village names
    • Fixed: Some problems with the Internet Explorer (versions 7 and higher) when using the “Enter” key
    • Fixed: Auto reload in the rally point made the full list of outgoing and incoming troops to collapse
    • Fixed: Wrong mouse over display for heroes of level 99 and higher
    • Removed popup trigger when a player moves scrolls within the inventory
    • Fixed: Gaul’s chiefing a village with a cranny did not receive their bonus on that building (higher capacity)
    • Fixed: Display of remaining building time while doing task 3 shows wrong duration
    • Fixed: „Raid list“ changes its sorting if a player adds or removes a village from the list
    • Rounding error fixed: It could happen that a player gained more points in the offensive/defensive statistics then he should have gained according tot he report

    • Account deletion sometimes doesn’t work: fixed
    • village name: village name can be longer than 20 characters, when renaming a village via the road sign (at the tree in dorf1.php): fixed
    • waiting time before you can delete your account after you bought gold: good will gold counts as bought gold: fixed


    Alliance
    • Internal ally overview: [news] also shows not ally internal news: fixed
    • Forum: Internal server error when sending a too long post. Text limit of 20000 characters per post implemented.


    Artefact
    • Faster troops: When sending troops before clicking "ok" last time, the shown travel time is not influenced by the artefact: fixed
    • Less crop consumption: Shall the crop artifact also work for reinforcement in oases? Yes. And it does, but the displayed consumption in rally point is wrong: fixed
    • warning message in natars profile when clicking artifact villages: fixed


    Auction
    • If you bid the highest bid 1 second before the auction ends, then it happens that you don’t win the auction: fixed


    Report
    • Old reports are not deleted: fixed
    • Attacker can see if the defending troops were reinforcement from other villages or not, if the tribe of defender and reinforcer is same (troops of same tribe are merged same way as in T3): fixed
    • Attacks on oases show "no evasion, because evasion is not active". Changed, now it shows "no evasion, because it's no capital".
    • Attacks to "unoccupied oasis" have the title attack to "abandoned valley": fixed
    • surviving and killed troops are both rounded same way, so there is one killed troop to much shown, if the loss is exactly X.5: fixed
    • subject is "[?]" instead of "unoccupied oasis", if you attack an unoccupied oasis during ceasefire: fixed
    • Trade between different alliances: Link to alliance always refers to your own alliance: fixed
    • Tooltip (MouseOver) of "Reinforcement in xxxx was attacked" shows "lost as attacker": fixed
    • XP-/Off-/Def points fit the report now


    Blacklist
    • IGM Blacklisting can be tricked by BB-Tags: fixed
    • IGMs: Popup with the "bad word" is not shown in Opera: fixed


    Browser IE
    • Auction: When creating an auction the changed amount of items is ignored if you hit the return key instead of using the "ok" button: fixed
    • Browser IE: in forum posts the alliance is shown next to the hero instead of beneath the hero: fixed


    Buildings
    • Market: Trade route: trade routes run twice: fixed
    • Market: Link for resources: After you used the backspace key in any resource input field and then use the resource quick link, first click works fine but second click adds the maximal capacity of all merchants instead of one merchant: fixed
    • Market: sending resources: Umlauts are interpreted wrong, which causes that you might send resources to a different village: fixed
    • Rally point: When clicking "Show All" all troop movements disappear: fixed
    • Rally point: Counter for returning time of troops doesn’t work: fixed
    • Rally point: Farm list: list order changes when editing the list: fixed
    • Rally point: Structure changed for optimizing. Details see below.


    Hero
    • Tooltip (MouseOver) for level bar shows a negative amount of experience point needed for next level, if hero is level 99: fixed
    • Bandages: distribution on regenerated troops is sometimes wrong: fixed
    • Bandages: 0 bandages are used to regenerate 0 troops if use equipped the hero with 1 bandage: fixed
    • Helmet of the Gladiator: you can create culture points with this helmet in a village that is located in the natars zone: fixed
    • Scrolls and Artworks: Infobox for using an item appears when you move this items within your inventory: fixed


    Fight system
    • Cranny capacity is not recalculated when conquering a village from a bigger player (e.g. a Gaul conquers a village from Natars): fixed


    Map
    • defect image files are not recognized and regenerated automatically: fixed


    Layout
    • Auctions: When you open the auctions page the tab "bid" is not marked as active: fixed
    • Support form: answers icon (that question mark) is misplaced: fixed
    • Text: "Occupied oasis" is written wrong in some places (with a capital letter or with a small letter): fixed


    Medals
    • Gloria Medal is not shown if another player looks in your profile: fixed


    Natars
    • Small Natars villages are not built up correctly. Warehouse/granary capacity is ignored: fixed
    • Production is not recalculated instantly when a village becomes a small Natars village: fixed


    Nature
    • Nature troops are not shown in dorf1.php if there are no other troops supplied by this village: fixed


    Task
    • return key doesn’t work: fixed
    • Task 3: When solving the quest the construction times in building queue are not recalculated correctly, if you start the construction of the rally point and then also start to build/upgrade something: fixed


    Rule protection
    • Sitter : Auctions : sit player can’t see the auctions of his sitter even when he already kicked this Sitter: fixed




    The new rally point:

    Troops in rally point are filtered by category. There are following filters:
    1. Unfiltered
      All troops are shown as before the change. But there are only 10 troop lines per category shown. If more than 10 troop lines in one category are used, then the link "show all" is shown. Clicking this link activates the corresponding filter.
    2. Incoming troops
      All incoming troops are shown.
    3. Troops in this village
      All troops which are located in this village are shown ordered by player and village. Those troops are:
      - own and reinforcing troops located in this village
      - foreign troops that are trapped in this village
      - reinforcement in oases that belongs to this village
    4. Outgoing troops
      All outgoing troops are shown.
    5. Troops in other villages
      All troops which were trained in this village and which are currently located somewhere else. Those troops are:
      - own troops in other villages
      - own troops in oases of this village
      - own troops in oases of other villages
      - own troops trapped in other villages


    When a filter is active there are up to 10 troop lines shown. If there are more than 10 troop lines needed in one category then a paginator is shown, that allows you to switch to the other troop lines.

    The buttons "free", "release", "draw back" and "kill" are changed into links again to make it easier to open those sites in a new tab. Players asked for that.

    Natars
    • In case of attacks to a Natars village a defending village size of 500 is now used for calculation instead of the complete Natars account size. Small Natars villages have a defined population of 500 in battles (that's same as oases have) - this is important for the simulations you may do in the combat simulator.
      Please note that the attacking player size is not changed, here still the complete account size counts.

    Feature:
    • New calculation for artworks with different speeds
    • "Spend gold" for sitters set to off by default
    • New layout hero page
    • Hero progress bars now have "correct" and same colors
    • Hero attributes are always open as long as hero is level 0
    • With every level up of the hero, the attributes open up
    • New icons to show the status of the hero (reinforcing, at home, dead, trapped,…..)
    • "Send hero to adventure" now has its one style and does´t look like "send troops" anymore
    • Complete adventure screen
    • New way to hide or unhide hero, easier to understand
    • Silver accounting tab added to auctions screen
    • Direct input for hero attributes, no need to add them one by one after usage of book of wisdom
    • Easier to change home village of the hero (not really, but that was the plan, we are working on a different solution here)
      => Choose "send troops" => select hero => next => check "deploy hero" box => send


    • Marketplace management tab shows now:
      free merchants,
      merchants with offers,
      merchants en route,
      next trade route at xx o clock needs x merchants


    • NPC trade now only shows "back to building" button and not "extent marketplace" button
    • Depending on level rally point management tab now shows information on more targets or shoot twice options, troop evasion and hero evasion
    • New building how has 3 tabs:
      Infrastructure (main building, cranny, warehouse, great warehouse, granary, great granary, market place, embassy, residence, palace, stonemason, treasury, brewery, horse drinking, town hall, trade office, WW)
      Military (rally point, trapper, wall/etc, barracks, heros mansion, academy, stable, workshop, great stable, great barracks)
      Resources (grain mill, bakery, saw mill, brick yard, iron foundry)
    • If you click on the building spot for wall or rally point, no tabs are shown
    • Buildings in progress to level 1 only show information, and no interaction interface, no tabs
    • Buildings now have more tabs and you can set a favourite tab (marketplace, residence, palace, rally point, treasury and besides the buildings alliance and dorf3.php). If you set a favourite tab, you will always see that first, if you go to that building or page.
    • There now is only one "show more" button, and not 2 as before
    • More noticeable that a building is being built up (level number now is coloured, the text of the building now shows a coloured "capacity after building xxx units"
    • Rally point now has tabs for "send troops" and combat simulator, those are no own pages anymore, but part of the rally point
    • new icons for troops movements



    Bugfixes:
    • Players hire players working properly again
    • Natars build buildings on the wall spot => fixed
    • If email address has a capital letter in it, email address change is not possible => fixed
    • Artworks now show correct culture points at all speed versions
    • Same BB code for iron and italic => fixed
    • NPC trade now working correct everywhere
    • Not possible any more to have great - stable, barracks in capital
    • Send hero to adventure without rally point => fixed
    • Task window now working in IE6 RTL
    • Attacked player sees attacking Hero survive, attacker sees his hero die, in reports, => fixed
    • Calculation for next hero level correct
    • Level 3 items now drop only on correct server age
    • Attack on oasis not shown in dorf1.php overview => fixed
    • Trade routs now work correct with different time zones
    • Trade routes now available for sitters, even if they don´t have permission to use gold
    • Ointments now working directly after the battle and heal hero
    • Some small stuff fixed at the auctions
