[x2] Start of the Qualification Round for the Championship Server

For some time now people have always wondered, who is the best Travian player? Which alliance has the ability to hold its own above all others?

With the end of the 2010 Soccer Championship Travian is giving you the chance to find out by taking part in the official Travian Championship!

All you need to do is register an account on the new starting server to have your chance to prove yourself!! Will you manage to achieve the trophy? Is your alliance strong enough to stand against the rest? And what everyone wants to know, do you have what it takes to claim the title of the Best Travian Player?!?

Sign up to take part in the battle for greatness of the like which has never been seen before! The time for finding the answers to these questions are just around the corner and this is your chance to
participate!

The first national (elimination) round will take place on a special game server as Travian version 3.6 server with 2x speed. Troops will travel with regular speed, however the resource production, construction times etc. will be twice as fast as on a normal server.

The preregistration for the server will open on July 14, 2010. And the server will start on Friday July 16, 2010.
- The beginner protection in the server is 3 days at the start.
- The amount of culture points needed at any given village number can be seen from this .gif image.
- Intervals between sendings of resources if you decide NOT to do the quests, is interval in normal server divided by 2.
- Artefact will get effective in 16 hours instead of 24h of normal server (and 12h of speed3x).


The best players of this server (means the 1000 largest Gauls, the 1000 largest Teutons, the 1000 largest Romans as well as all holders of Wonders of the World) will get the great opportunity to play on the final server which most likely will start in April 2011. There they can fight the participants of the other national elimination servers to find the best Travian player and win prizes!

Furthermore all players who manage to qualify for the final will receive a special medal showing the rank achieved on the qualification server. This medal is connected to the email address used to register on the qualification server and will be automatically created for in future accounts registered using the same email address.

As the normal server has 1x speed and the speed servers have 3x speed this server may last about 6 months

I think (comch) or (comq) are good names for this server.

Unfortuately this will only prove which account is played better not who the greatest players are. The winning accounts will be those playedby duals - just like happens on any other server and an individual just could not keep up as they do requre speed.

If there was a way to guarantee that the most help an idividual could have would be sitters and therefore you really were getting the individual's competing to show who is greatest it wuld be cool. Otherwise its just who has the best set of dual/triad/Quad?(and so on) with the most gold - on an account - not who is the greatest individual player.
