Default Hard-coded pushing rules

Pushing rules should be hard-coded into the game so that players cannot violate them even if they want to. This would spare players the dreaded experience of being banned for accidental or unknowing rule violations during a critical time. It would also undoubtedly spare the multihunters the annoyance of listening to people whine and bellyache about being unfairly banned.

Or perhaps a counter in the marketplace screen which shows each resource and the amount left that you are able to send before the limit is reached.

why ??

sometimes players need to borrow resources and as long as paid back within the 24hrs no harm done ...

This would stop that

You just have to pay more attention ...

Which is why I suggested a counter in the MP, so you have an idea, but you are still able to exceed it if you wish.

In fact, there is nothing in the rules that prevents one-off large transfers over the hourly limit.

Quote:
In any 24 hour period, regular one-sided transfers with another player may only equal one hour of resource production, including marketplace transactions.
The key word being regular. If it's a one-off then you haven't broken any rules.

But then you wouldnt be able to trade resources from one city and have them recieved at another which is vital when you run negative crop. I sometimes run into the situation which I need crop in a city immediately so I ask an alliance member to trade, then I send from a different city and recieve where I needed the crop well the computer wouldnt be able to differentiate between a trade or just an illegal push. also what if you are sitting for someone and they need alot of crop you wouldnt be able to send the resources simultaneously so the program would deem the trade an illegal push.

Just give me a warning box that says how much I need to get back form the person before I'm considered Pushing (When I'm sitting someone, I quite often trade 1:1 with them, so hard-coding the pushing rules might be a little tricky)

Enjoy

There was also a thread about "loaning resources"
where a player can give as much resources to another player but has to hourly compensate the resource... something similar to this

I dont think it could be enforced... that would make it very hard.. and inflexible.. and as mentioned above.. so long as it is not Regular - it is not against the rules..

Perhaps a trading history with the other player on the screen confirming the trade..

Travian keeps reports of all trades.. perhaps it could just show trades with that player for the last 7 days and the net difference at the bottom..
